Ingredients:
- 4 tilapia fillet (skinless, boneless)
- sliced ginger
- salt
- pepper
- 4 garlic cloves (I used garlic powder because I didn't have any garlic)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup terriyaki sauce
- 5 tablespoons water
- onions (optional)
Directions:
- Marinate tilapia in ginger, salt, pepper (and garlic powder if you don't have fresh garlic) for 15 minutes
- In a sauce pan on medium heat, sauté the garlic (and onions) until golden brown
- Add the tilapia and ginger to the sauce pan and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes
- Add the teriyaki sauce and water and simmer for about 5-8 minutes, or until tilapia is fully cooked. Flip tilapia halfway through cooking time. Serve with rice and vegetables and enjoy!
