Candied Pineapple with Jamie Eason Natural Whey Isolate








This is my first time trying Labrada Nutrition protein powder, and I was not disappointed! I was a little bit skeptical of the taste at first because of the different scent, but it actually tastes really good! Here's some information on Jamie Eason's Natural Whey Isolate (directly from their website)

  • no gluten, lactose, artificial flavors, artificial colors, preservatives or artificial sweeteners 

My mom tried these candied pineapples today and she said it tasted delicious because it's not too sweet nor sour, and the coconut shreds give it a little crunch.


Recipe:

1/2 scoop chocolate Jamie Eason Natural Whey Isolate protein powder
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp coconut shreds
1 pineapple wedge cut in half
wooden skewers

Directions:
Skewer the pineapple wedges. Melt coconut oil in microwave safe bowl for 20 seconds. Add protein and mix well (add more protein until it becomes a thick honey-like consistency). Dip the pineapple into this mixture and then dip into coconut shreds. Put in fridge for about 10 seconds or until the chocolate hardens.
