Spinach and Basil Pesto

Spinach and Basil Pesto

Can be stored in the freezer in an ice cube tray for easy access

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella or parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
  1. Pulse spinach and basil in food processor then mix the rest of the ingredients except the olive oil
  2. When all the ingredients are combined, pour in the olive oil as the food processor is mixing. Mix for a couple minutes to make sure all ingredients are combined.
