Quinoa Patties - Egg Yolks

Don't let your egg yolks go to waste!

I love these because you can basically throw in whatever ingredients you have at home that you would like, and you don't have to be accurate with the measurements. I actually didn't measure my ingredients, so they are approximate.

Ingredients:
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup quinoa
  • 1/4 tsp sage
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1 clove garlic
  • rosemary
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • salmon
  • 1 bunch chopped up kale
Directions (refer to pictures):

Step 1: Cook quinoa according to package and combine all the ingredients together
Step 2: Press mixture into a measuring cup (or you can just scoop out the mixture onto a pan with a spoon)
Step 3: Oil a pan and cook on medium heat for about 3-5 minutes (until the patties are easy to flip). Then flip the patties over for another 3 minutes
Steph 4: Serve over kale, or however you like

Makes about 5-6 patties
