Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- Vegan dark chocolate chips OR my clean dark chocolate recipe
- Chopped Almonds
Directions:
- Cut the banana in half and pierce a chopstick vertically through each half of the banana
- Put banana in freezer for about 5-10 minutes or until it is completely frozen
- Melt the chocolate chips and dip the banana into the chocolate.
- Dip the banana in the chopped almonds. Work fast because the chocolate hardens quickly
- Place back into freezer for another 5-10 minutes or until the chocolate hardens. Enjoy!
Notes:
- If using my clean dark chocolate recipe, omit number 3
- I used whole almonds and chopped them up with a knife. You can use a food processor or you can buy slivered almonds
- Other topping ideas: coconut flakes, chopped up dates, almond butter
